Lacey Chabert
Lacey Chabert, born September 30th, 1982, portrays teenage violin prodigy, Claudia Salinger, who, along with her brothers and sister, takes on adult responsibilities in an attempt to keep her family together.
Lacey has been performing since she was only five years old. For two years, she performed on Broadway as young Cosette in "Les Miserables" and, demonstrating her versatility, also played the male role of Gavroche.
On the television side, Lacey is most widely known for her starring role as Bianca in the popular daytime series "All My Children." Recently, she starred as Baby June alongside Bette Midler in the television movie "Gypsy." She also starred in the television movies "A Little Piece of Heaven" and "When Secrets Kill." Additionally, she appeared as a company member on the former "Late Night with David Letterman" and was a junior vocalist finalist on "Star Search '91 ." Lacey's additional theater credits include Sophie in the "Josephine Baker Story" and Gretl in a Rogers & Hammerstein musical review at New York University.
Most recently, Lacey won a Hollywood Reporter's Second Annual YoungStar Award for Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Drama TV Series. In addition, she can be heard as the voice of one of the characters in the animated movie Anastasia, released in November of 1997. Lacey also starred in the recent feature film of "Lost in Space" (she played Panny Robinson) in England which was released in April of 1998.
Born in Purvis, MS, Lacey has moved to Los Angeles with her parents, two older sisters and younger brother. A singer, dancer, pianist and violin player, Lacey enjoys ice skating, roller skating and spending time with her family and friends.

LACEY CHABERT (Penny Robinson) is perhaps best known for her starring role as Claudia on the hit Fox Broadcasting series "Party of Five." She recently was cast as the voice actor who will give life to Simba's daughter Shani in the highly anticipated animated adventure Lion King II: Simba's Pride. Her voice will also be recognized in the upcoming "Babes in Toyland," and in Disney's "Little Redux Riding Hood," where she joins Mia Farrow and Michael Richards. Currently, she can be heard on Nickelodeon as the voice of Eliza Thornberry in "The Thornberries" cartoon.
Later this year, Chabert will star in the ABC telefilm "When Secrets Kill," a mystery-thriller starring Roxanne Hart, Timothy Busfield and Gregory Harrison. She recently starred as Baby June opposite Bette Midler in CBS' acclaimed production of "Gypsy." Chabert originated the role of Bianca, Erica Kane's daughter in the ABC daytime drama "All My Children," but left the role after winning the part of young Cossette in the Broadway production of "Les Miserable," a part she played for two years.
